- BE Civil from a recognized university
- 12 years experience (including minimum 7 years in municipal services)
- City Engineer (Special) – Civil

- BE Mechanical or Electrical
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience
- Executive Engineer (Civil)
- First class BE Civil from a recognized university
- 5 years experience as Deputy Executive Engineer OR 7 years as Assistant Engineer
