Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management and Catering from the National Council of Hotel Management or any recognized University; OR
  • Diploma in Hotel Management and/or Catering Technology from a recognized institution.
• Experience:
  • At least 2 years’ experience as Manager Grade II or equivalent post in Roads & Buildings Department, or
  • 2 years’ experience in Hotel Management/Catering field in Government, Local Bodies, PSU, or 2-Star and above Hotels.
• Language Knowledge: Should have adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
• Computer Skills: Must possess basic computer knowledge as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 35 years (as on 17 October 2025).
• Age Relaxation:
  • Divyang Candidates: 10 years (up to 45 years maximum).
  • Gujarat Govt Employees: As per GPSC rules.

Salary

• Pay Scale: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400 (Level-8)
• Grade Pay: ₹4600
• Pay Band: ₹9300 – ₹34800

• Stage 1: Preliminary Examination
