The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has announced GSSSB Librarian Recruitment 2025 under the Sports, Youth and Cultural Activities Department. The recruitment is for 12 Librarian (Class 3) posts through direct selection. The appointment will be on a fixed pay of ₹40,800 for the first 5 years. Job Overview:

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Library and Information Science or Library Science from a recognized university.
• Basic knowledge of Computer Applications.
• Knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Age Limit (As on 04/08/2025):

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 35 years
• Age relaxations available for reserved categories, women, PwD, ex-servicemen as per norms (up to 20 years for EWS female PwD).

Salary Details:

• Fixed pay: ₹40,800 per month for the first five years.
• After 5 years: ₹29,200 – ₹92,300 (Level-5) as per 7th Pay Commission.
