Eligibility
- Assistant Professor Grade-II (Level 10): Ph.D. in relevant discipline with first-class at both B.Tech/BE and M.Tech/ME. No experience required. Desirable qualifications include research publications, GATE score, patents, and international exposure.
- Assistant Professor Grade-I (Level 12): Ph.D. in relevant discipline with first-class at B.Tech/BE and M.Tech/ME, plus 3 years post-Ph.D. experience or 6 years total teaching/research/industry experience. Minimum 20 credit points required.
- For Physical & Applied Sciences and Mathematics, Ph.D. in relevant field with Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in the concerned subject.
Age Limit
The notification does not mention a specific upper age limit. However, candidates must meet qualification and experience requirements as per the institute norms.
Salary
- Grade-II (Level 10): As per 7th CPC pay matrix (Contract appointment for 3 years, extendable by 2 years).
- Grade-I (Level 12): As per 7th CPC pay matrix with probation of 2 years.
- Additional allowances include HRA, DA, Transport Allowance, Child Education Allowance, and NPS employer contribution.
