Educational Qualifications
- Assistant Rajbhasha Officer (E1): Master’s in Hindi/English with the other subject as an elective + 3 years’ experience in translation/teaching/research.
- Junior Engineer (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/E&C): Full-time 3-year Diploma in the relevant branch with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). Note: B.Tech/BE without diploma not allowed.
- Supervisor (IT): DOEACC ‘A’ Level / 3-year Diploma in Computer Science/IT / BCA / B.Sc (IT/CS) with minimum 60% marks.
- Senior Accountant: Inter CA Pass / Inter CMA Pass.
- Hindi Translator: Master’s degree in Hindi/English with the other subject as elective + 1-year experience in translation/teaching/research OR Degree/Diploma in translation.
Age Limit (as on last date of application)
- Maximum Age: 30 Years

Salary / Pay Scale
- Assistant Rajbhasha Officer (E1): ₹40,000 – 1,40,000 (IDA)
- Junior Engineer / Supervisor / Sr. Accountant: ₹29,600 – 1,19,500 (IDA)
- Hindi Translator: ₹27,000 – 1,05,000 (IDA)

Selection Process
- Computer Based Online Test (CBT) / Written Exam
- Medium: English & Hindi
- Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)
- Total Marks: 200 (for JE, Supervisor, Sr. Accountant)
- Part I: 140 MCQ (Technical Discipline)
- Part II: 30 MCQ (General Awareness)
- Part III: 30 MCQ (Reasoning Ability)
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Part I: 40 MCQ + 10 Descriptive Questions
- Part II: 30 MCQ (General Awareness)
- Part III: 30 MCQ (Reasoning)
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates will be called for DV at NHPC Corporate Office, Faridabad.
- Final Selection: Based on merit of CBT/Written Test and successful document verification.
