POWERGRID Recruitment 2025: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), a Maharatna PSU under the Government of India, has announced a massive recruitment drive for 1543 vacancies of Field Engineers and Field Supervisors on a fixed-term contract basis through the POWERGRID Common FTE Written Test 2025.
This is a golden opportunity for Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders to work with one of the largest transmission utilities in the world, engaged in power transmission, distribution, and telecom projects across India.

- Maximum Age: 29 years as on 17.09.2025
- Relaxation: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (10โ15 years), Ex-Servicemen as per Govt. rules.
Post-wise Qualification & Experience
1. Field Engineer (Electrical) โ Post ID 487
- Qualification: Full-time B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical discipline with minimum 55% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in Design, Engineering, Construction, Testing & Commissioning in Transmission/RE/DMS/ST/ Substation works.
2. Field Engineer (Civil) โ Post ID 488
- Qualification: Full-time B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc (Engg.) in Civil discipline with minimum 55% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in Civil Construction/Design/Testing in Transmission/RE/DMS projects.
3. Field Supervisor (Electrical) โ Post ID 489
- Qualification: Full-time Diploma in Electrical with 55% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in Construction/Testing/Commissioning of electrical works.
- โ Higher qualification (B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech.) not allowed.
4. Field Supervisor (Civil) โ Post ID 490
- Qualification: Full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering with 55% marks.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in Civil Construction/Testing/Commissioning works.

Salary / Remuneration
For Non-RDSS Projects
- Field Engineer: โน30,000 โ 1,20,000 (CTC ~ โน8.9 LPA)
- Field Supervisor: โน23,000 โ 1,05,000 (CTC ~ โน6.8 LPA)
For RDSS Projects
- Same pay scale as above but perks up to 35% of Basic Pay will be variable, subject to performance.

- UR/EWS โ 40%
- Reserved Categories โ 30%
- Interview (Only for Field Engineers)
- Candidates shortlisted from Written Test will be called for Interview.
